Design the system, stand up the platform, engineer the room that holds it.

Vantaz Systems LLC produces system architecture, industrial-grade computing and control platforms, and the power, cabling, and rack infrastructure those platforms occupy. Work is issued from Cheyenne as drawings, cabinets, racks, and cable plant — not as a generic IT catalog.

Practice brief

Three named lines. One accountable package.

Operators, OEMs, and facility owners come to Vantaz Systems LLC when architecture, platform, and infrastructure cannot be split across unrelated vendors. We write the topology, specify the industrial platform, and engineer the cable plant, power path, and rack field that the platform sits in.

The Cheyenne practice does not sell software licenses, cloud subscriptions, or construction trades. The deliverable is a designed system, an industrial-grade platform build, and the infrastructure that keeps both running in the equipment room.

Every engagement starts from drawings or a measured room. Architecture sheets set zones and interfaces. Platform work produces control cabinets and compute racks. Infrastructure work dresses trays, patch panels, and UPS feeders so the architecture is physically true.

ARCH-01

System architecture design

Architecture work is the drawing set that the platform and the room must obey: service topology, network zones, rack elevations, and the interface matrix between components.

Workstation production

Topology, zones, and rack elevations

Design is produced at the architecture workstation. Dual displays carry the service topology and zone model while rack-elevation sheets sit on the desk as the physical counterpart of the same system.

Issued content

  • Layered service topology for the industrial platform
  • Network zone boundaries and trust edges
  • Rack elevations coordinated to cabinet and server layouts
  • Component blocks that map 1:1 to platform hardware

Printed architecture sheets

Rack elevations, zone diagrams, and the interface matrix are printed from the same workstation so field and shop crews work from paper that matches the digital model.

Architecture that occupies a room

The drawing set is written so control cabinets, compute racks, and cable trays can occupy one equipment room without fighting each other’s elevations or power path.

PLT-02

Industrial-grade platforms

Platform work is the hardware the architecture named: DIN-rail control cabinets, industrial Ethernet, ruggedized servers, and 19-inch compute racks built as a production platform, not a lab prototype.

Control cabinets and ruggedized compute

Industrial-grade platforms are assembled as floor-standing cabinets: PLC CPUs, I/O, industrial Ethernet switches, ruggedized servers, and labeled terminal blocks on DIN rail, ready to land on the architecture’s zone plan.

Platform contents

  • PLC and I/O on DIN rail inside industrial cabinets
  • Industrial Ethernet switching for plant and platform traffic
  • Ruggedized servers specified for equipment-room duty
  • Labeled terminal blocks for field landing

Cabinet interiors carry the HMI, PLC CPU, I/O modules, and industrial Ethernet switch as a single platform node, matching the component block on the architecture sheet.

Where the architecture calls for rack compute rather than a wall cabinet, we populate 19-inch frames with platform servers, switches, and dressed patch cords.

Infrastructure engineering

Infrastructure is the physical plant that feeds the platform: overhead trays, structured copper and fiber, patch panels, UPS, and power distribution in the same equipment room.

Room-level plant

Trays, feeders, and UPS path

Infrastructure engineering dresses the room: cable trays for copper and fiber, the electrical panel, and UPS cabinets that feed the racks the architecture placed on the floor plan.

Plant elements

  • Overhead trays with separated copper and fiber runs
  • Power distribution to rack and cabinet loads
  • UPS cabinets on the platform feed path
  • Rack positions coordinated to architecture elevations

Patch panels and structured cabling

Fiber and copper land on numbered patch panels so the zone diagram on the architecture sheet can be traced port-for-port in the rack.

UPS and power distribution

UPS cabinets, battery strings, and the distribution panel are engineered as the feed to the same racks that hold the industrial platform.

Engagement method

From architecture sheets to a live equipment room

The sequence is fixed so platform cabinets and infrastructure trays are not built against an unfrozen drawing.

01

Room and drawing intake

Existing rack elevations, one-lines, or a measured equipment room are taken as the baseline. Scope is limited to architecture, platforms, and infrastructure.

02

Architecture freeze

Topology, zones, interface matrix, and rack elevations are issued as sheets. Platform and infrastructure work does not start until this set is frozen.

03

Platform build

Control cabinets and compute racks are assembled to the frozen component list: PLC, I/O, HMI, industrial Ethernet, and servers.

04

Infrastructure fit-out

Trays, patch panels, UPS, and power distribution are installed to the same elevations so cables and feeders land where the architecture placed them.

05

As-built close

Port maps, rack elevations, and cabinet internals are marked as-built against the original sheets before the room is released.

Controls

The drawing, the cabinet, and the tray must name the same system.

Vantaz Systems LLC treats architecture sheets as hold points. Platform interiors and infrastructure port maps are checked against those sheets before the equipment room is called complete.

  • Rack elevations match populated compute racks and cabinet footprints
  • Interface matrix matches landed terminals and patch ports
  • Zone diagram matches dressed copper and fiber in the trays
  • UPS and distribution feed the racks the architecture placed
